东北财经大学成功举办“IAER Macroeconomics Workshop 2023”

2023年6月14日至16日，东北财经大学高等经济研究院成功举办“IAER Macroeconomics Workshop 2023”。校内外中青年教师和研究生共50余人次参加了此次研讨会。

10位经济学者报告了其最新研究成果，探讨了宏观经济学前沿理论。中国人民大学副教授高昊宇，澳大利亚国立大学副教授Çağrı S. KUMRU，南安普顿大学助理教授李倩，香港大学教授罗雨雷，武汉大学教授聂军，阿里巴巴罗汉堂高级经济学者孙琪，埃默里大学教授、亚特兰大联邦储备银行高级研究员岳占崴，伦敦政治经济学院助理教授张圣醒应邀参加了本届研讨会并报告论文。东北财经大学副教授李剑、助理教授汤皓州在研讨会上报告了论文。

    “IAER Macroeconomics Workshop 2023”是各方深入交流、扩大合作后举办的一次高水平学术会议。作为我校开展学术合作的重要组成部分，本届研讨会为校内外师生搭建了宏观经济学高水平学术交流平台，提供了拓宽学术视野、跟踪学科前沿、提高创新能力的难得机遇，为我校加强学术交流合作、不断提高学术水平和创新能力发挥了积极作用。

DUFE Held IAER Macroeconomics Workshop 2023

IAER Macroeconomics Workshop 2023, sponsored by Institute for Advanced Economic Research (IAER), Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE), was held on June 14-16, 2023. More than 50 scholars and graduate students attended the workshop.

Ten macroeconomists presented their frontier research, and received constructive comments from the audiences. The workshop invited a total of 8 macroeconomists to attend and present: Haoyu GAO, associate professor at Renmin University of China, Cagri S. KRUMU, associate professor at Australian National University, Qian LI, assistant professor at University of Southampton, Yulei LUO, professor at the University of Hong Kong, Jun NIE, professor at Wuhan University, Qi SUN, senior economist at Luohan Academy, Alibaba Group, Vivian YUE, Samuel Candler Dobbs Professor of Economics at Emory University and a CQER Senior Research Fellow at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, and Shengxing ZHANG, assistant professor at The London School of Economics and Political Science. Associate professor Jian LI, and assistant professor Haozhou TANG from DUFE attended and presented papers at the workshop.

As a significant component of cooperation in academic research of DUFE, the IAER Macroeconomics Workshop 2023 was a valuable platform for economists to broaden the horizon in research, and promote the applications and development of economic research in China.
