Dr. Huiyu CUI is a Professor of Economics at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE), where she also serves as the Head of the HR Office and the Executive Director of the Institute of Advanced Economic Research Institute (IAER). She has been honored with titles such as, Leading Talent under the Liaoning "Revitalization Talents Program", Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Faculty in Liaoning Higher Education Institutions, and First‑Tier Distinguished Scholar under the Liaoning Higher Education Talent Support Program. Her research focuses on tax policy and public budget. She has published over 20 articles in Chinese academic journals, including China Industrial Economics, Finance & Trade Economics, and Accounting Research. As principal investigator, she has led major projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation of China and general projects under the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Professor Cui is the instructor of the course Government Budget (Government Budget Management), which was selected in 2020 as one of "Hybrid Online‑Offline First‑Class Undergraduate Courses" by the Ministry of Education of China.
