Dr. Cagri S. KRUMU, Australian National University

Dr. Cagri S. KRUMU is an Associate Professor of Economics, an Associate Investigator at the Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research, and a Research Associate at the Australian National University Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis. His research spans macroeconomics, public economics, and behavioral economics. Dr. KUMRU is mainly interested in the macroeconomic implications of various tax and social insurance programs. He also works with large scale computational models, often enriching them with insights taken from the behavioral economics literature. Some of his work has been funded by the Australian Research Council and the US Social Security Administration Michigan Retirement Centre. Cagri's research appears in top-ranked economics journals including Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, European Economic Review.

Dr. Jian LI is currently an associate professor at the Institute of Advanced Economic Research, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics. Dr. Jun NIE, Wuhan University

Dr. Jun NIE is a professor and the dean of Economics and Management School at Wuhan University. He was a Senior Economist in the Economic Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He received his Ph.D. from New York University in 2009. His current research interests include three areas. The first one focuses on the impact of uncertainty, including both model uncertainty and state uncertainty, on the macroeconomy and individual optimal decisions. In the second area, heterogeneous-agent models are combined with micro data to quantitatively evaluate effects of labor-market policies. The third research area focuses on the Chinese economy and its implications for the global economy. He has papers published in professional journals including Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of International Economics, European Economic Review, Review of Economic Dynamics, Economic Journal, and Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control.
